Denver County Kids Identified with Dyslexia Code of Conduct

We expect every Interested Person (Director, Member, or Invitee) of Denver County Kids Identified with Dyslexia (DenCoKID) to act with the highest level of integrity and ethical standards while furthering the interests of those with dyslexia in Denver County, Colorado.

The promotion or benefit of any person, company, product, service, organization, or professional services (for-profit or non-profit) with which an Interested Person has any direct or indirect financial interest through business, investment, compensation arrangement, subcontracting services or family relationship is prohibited and shall be considered a conflict of interest unless otherwise determined by the DenCOKID Board of Directors.

During the course of DenCoKID business, an Interested Person shall immediately notify the DenCoKID Board of Directors if a conflict of interest arises so that they may take appropriate actions in the best interest of the organization.

Unless approved by the DenCoKID Board of Directors, community meetings, correspondence (including emails), distribution lists and other DenCoKID materials may not be used for commercial or political solicitation by members, visitors or invitees or by outside persons, agents or organizations. No sales or solicitations are permitted using DenCoKID resources, including distribution lists, or systems without the express prior written permission from the President and Vice President of the DenCoKID Board of Directors.

In order to provide a safe and welcoming environment supporting the interests of those with dyslexia in Denver County, DenCoKID encourages those using DenCoKID resources, including its website or emails, as well as those attending DenCoKID meetings and events, to maintain and respect the confidentiality of any personal information obtained, directly or indirectly, from those resources or events.
